Your change can change lives! At the Co-op, you can round up your purchase to the nearest $1, $5, or more at the register. From April 1st through June 30th, our featured recipient is Black Hills Parks & Forests Association, the official nonprofit partner supporting several public lands across the region, including Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument, Black Hills National Forest, and more. Our Register Round Up, April 1st through June 30th, will go directly to funding education, conservation, and visitor engagement across the Black Hills and surrounding public lands.
Black Hills Parks & Forests Association began in 1946 as the Wind Cave Library Association, an organization dedicated to supporting interpretive, educational and scientific programs and services at Wind Cave National Park. Today, Black Hills Parks and Forests Association provides vital funding to our public land partners. For over 75 years their funding has helped partners deal with budgetary shortfalls and enable the dedicated public servants to extend more educational and recreational opportunities to more people than they otherwise would be able to.
